Hello, friend.

My name is Priscilla N. Trejo and I enjoy the finicky process of coding.

I've always been fascinated by technology since childhood, from building Lego robots to exploring PC software and components. Inspired by the children's book series "Warriors", I began experimenting with website builders like Weebly and Webs, creating forums and mobile-responsive sites by the age of 10.

I joined a FIRST Robotics Competition team in high school and built a 120 lb robot. While on this team, I learned the basics of Python and developed my critical thinking and collaboration skills. After graduation, I volunteered for the program yearly, and now aim to learn various programming languages to mentor a team in the future. During this time, I also obtained an EMT-B certification, where I worked for various companies providing both emergency and non-emergency treatment.

Curiosity has led me on a journey that has unfolded through several remarkable chapters, ultimately directing me to become a software engineer. I now work full-time at a bookstore and self-educate to become a full-stack developer, learning front-end technologies and gradually moving to back-end development. I've created aesthetically appealing and functional applications for small businesses and nonprofits to both further my developer skills and assist those in need of a web presence.

On top of everything else, I am also an active member of local Web Development groups, such as freeCodeCamp Indy, where I organize weekly virtual events and recently spoke about my project and its tech stack.

When I'm not writing code, you can find me engaged in a Brandon Sanderson novel, on a 10-mile hike with my wonderful partner, or creating digital art commissions.

Once the proposal is accepted, a signed contract will confirm the project, and payment will follow immediately after.

FRC 6865 Manitoulin Metal

Introducing FRC 6865 Manitoulin Metal, my latest and most advanced project. This mobile-friendly website, built using the Bootstrap 5 library, provides everything a high school robotics team could need. With this new, fully functional website, Manitoulin Metal is poised to attract more sponsors and secure funding for the 2025 season.
